Art Walk

Downtown Main Street, in partnership with Red Wing Arts, City of Red Wing Government, the Public Art Liaisons Curt Gruhl, Art Kenyon, and Becky Poss have brought NINE brand new sculptures on limestone pedestals to downtown! Two sculptures- Jake on Bass in Central Park (a gift of the Jones Family Foundation) and Maestro at the Sheldon Theatre of Performing Arts (a gift of the Albrecht Poss Family Foundation) are permanent and will spread joy for years to come. Seven sculptures are temporary and will be in place until the spring of 2022 and then we'll get new ones to replace them! The temporary sculptures are for sale, so if you fall in love with one, it can be yours! In the historic spirit of philanthropic support for our town, we thank the local sponsors whose commitment to downtown Red Wing made placing these sculptures possible: Wings Foundation, Jones Family Foundation, Albrecht Poss Family Foundation, Red Wing Area Fund, and the Red Wing Shoe Foundation.
