Mike Albers has been the owner of Falk Auto Body since July 2019 after working there for 10 years. Falk Auto Body & Trim has been in business for 60 years and been a staple of Clay City since 1994. Over the years a few things have changed like computerization, aluminum bodies, the need for electronic calibration for measuring to manufacture specifications and the list goes on but the one thing that remains the same is the quality of work and personal service. Mike, along with his dedicated 11 staff members (two of whom have been with them for over 30 years!) handles on average of 100 car repairs per month and sees everything from minor scratches to extensive repairs. Investing in new technology and equipment is a priority for Mike as he recently added a new paint booth, which replaced the previous ones from the 1970s! With this investment, their quality and efficiency have increased while also becoming more environmentally friendly. The team is also investing in new systems that have proven to shorten their repair time. Their Clay City Car Show last month was a huge success with 70 car owners parking their vehicles and community members coming down to talk cars and gather as a community.
