As many of you know, much work is being done to heal the relationship between Red Wing and Prairie Island, and through the time spent on this project over the past year by the Honoring Dakota Project and Downtown Main Street, it is clear that we have much we can learn.
Our presenter, VP Buck, has served on the Tribal Council for over a decade, serving as the first woman President and now as Vice President. Artist Cole Redhorse Taylor grew up on Priarie Island and attended Red Wing Public Schools.
