Red Wing Downtown Main Street led the charge to take home $25,000 for our town by participating in the 2017 America's Main Streets contest, hosted by Independent We Stand and sponsored by Stihl.Red Wing was among the top 25 semi-finalists, and we were subsequently voted into the top 10 spot by our outstanding supporters—both local and national.After a week's deliberation by the contest host, it was decided that the grand prize would go to Deland, Fla.Thanks to everyone who supported our campaign! Having folks rally around Red Wing like this is heartening for us and the businesses and citizens we serve. Thanks for lending us your time and energy.
