Partner Promotion Grant Program
Purpose
The Partner Promotion Grant Program provides an additional benefit to Downtown Main Street Partners with funds to support their promotional efforts and encourages collaboration amongst businesses to cross-promote and work together.
Timeline, Funding Source, and Total Expenditure
In 2022, Downtown Main Street will set aside $2000 from Partner Fees for this Grant Program. Grants will be dispersed in two ways. Our first option is for a one-time Special Partner promotion event (eg: Anniversary, Grand Opening, Grand ReOpening) up to $50. The second option is for a group of 3 or more Partners doing a joint promotion, up to $150. Each business is eligible for multiple grants per calendar year based on the discretion of Downtown Main Street’s Executive Director. There are no matching fund requirements.
Additionally, Downtown Main Street will offer to business groups (West End Marketing Consortium and the Brick and Mortar Group) to pay for their annual Canva Pro services once they have completed the Canva Education Series with Downtown Main Street. The annual cost of Canva Pro is $120.
Eligible Marketing Expenses and Requirements
Grantees must be a Downtown Main Street Partner having paid their annual 2022 Partner fees. Grantees are required to list Downtown Main Street as their promotional sponsor including the organization’s logo when appropriate.
