The City Staff is holding the first of several meetings to discuss the status of plans for the Old West Main Street neighborhood. Since the completion of the “Renewing Old West Main: A Master Plan” in 2015, the City has been developing strategies and funding support to address off-street parking, pedestrian and bicycling connections to the riverfront, and other actions listed in the plan. We would like to provide an update and discuss next steps. The focus of this meeting is on the section of Old West Main Street between Highway 61 and Buchanan Streets on the east end of the neighborhood, however, all are welcome to attend. Representatives of various departments will be available at this meeting. This meeting will take place at Pier 55, 240 Harrison Street, 9-10 AM on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. If you are unable to attend, please contact Brian.Peterson@ci.red-wing.mn.us or at 651-385-3617.
