Q: What measures have you implemented in your business that you would like customers to know about?
A: We have removed fixtures and furnishings and have reconfigured the bookstore to facilitate safe distance browsing. We religiously clean the register and doors. Employees must wear masks. We are smiling behind our masks!
Q: Do you require your employees and/or customers to wear a mask in your business?
A: Yes Employees, Customers are not required but highly recommended.
Q: Are you taking measures that exceed State and CDC requirements and if so how?
A: Air filtration and cash register shields.
Q: Do you have new hours or sales specials that you would like customers to know about?
A: July the $1 and $3 dollar carts are back, and we still offer a mystery book bundle and a book subscription service. We are offering matching in-store credit for book orders through our website on BookShop.
Q: Do you have your preparedness plans posted online that customers can access? If so, please provide link and we will include on our webpage of designated businesses.
Q: How has your business been affected by COVID?
A: Significantly slower 2nd quarter, with fewer sales and smaller sales. We are grateful to our amazing customers who have brought us handmade masks, hand sanitizer, trade-ins, and lots of Reveler love.
Q: Is there an additional message you would like to share with your customers/the community?
A: Red Wing is a friendly, peaceful, compassionate, and safe place to make a home, and with honesty, effort, adherence to guidelines, and thoughtfulness, we will all get through this time of struggle.
